Design Thinking forms the bedrock of our beliefs. Much of the work we do with our product involves some form of behaviour-change. For many of our clients who have been in business for a long time, there is great inertia towards digitalisation. As design-thinkers, we put a lot of thought into easing that inertia. We ensure our product is designed to be intuitive, guiding our users towards being a data-driven company.


We hold this belief that there are 3Ps' of focus in every organisation; Product, Process and People. Product is an outcome of statistics and how close a company drives to the designed process. Alas, the company is driven by the people that it's made up of and people are the most dynamic portion of this system. Process then becomes the only component that can be designed to be ideal and we breathe this belief through our industry-curated solutions that enable companies to tap onto processes that were designed by domain experts.


Our team believes that achieving big things starts with churning out small wins. Momentum could only be achieved through persistence of goals and alignment of focus. This belief is also translated to our approach to client engagement. Often, our clients are in the infancy stage of technological adoption and we guide them through the small wins in digitisation, building their confidence and proficiency, ultimately progressing to being a data-driven organisation.

  • Project Based Consultation on Visualisations, AR/VR Pre-Datavis, we worked with government research agencies to produce high-impact visualisations and thoughfully designed applications for many of their projects. This allowed us to carve a niche in that space in the industry.
  • 2015
  • Conceptualisation of Ideas for Datavis The founding team sat together and sought to productise and hence birthed the idea of Datavis as a product. Datavis Pte. Ltd. was then incorporated on Dec 2015.
  • 2016
  • Development of Ideas and Concepts Juggling between ad-hoc projects and personal work, the founding team drew hundreds of product blueprints and sought to validate their ideas with their contacts. A product blueprint was concepted and the team worked to architect and MVP.
  • 2017
  • Building of MVP The founding team adopted the idea of bootstrapping and ensured that every step of the way during the architecting of the MVP was supported by client projects. This supplied us the juice we needed to start a development team. Our MVP was finally completed and tested late-2017.
  • 2018
  • Building Momentum With a working MVP, the team now seeks to build momentum by identifying industry areas to focus on. The team is also working to create industry-specific solutions by partnering with domain experts to ensure our solution creates real value to the targeted end-users.
